It nestles within the fifth ancient city of Delhi originally named as 'Firuzabad' also spelled as 'Ferozabad'. Firuzabad, the fifth city of Delhi, now known as Kotla Firuz Shah, is a large enclosure of high walls, which then lay along the Yamuna river.
