National Gandhi Museum has a rich collection of relics, books, journals, documents, photographs, audio-visual materials and art pieces connected to Mahatma Gandhi. It has 5 sections – museum, literature centre, library, audio-visual section & a photo gallery. The Museum has worldly materials related to Gandhiji, Literature Centre has books for selling purposes, the Library has 43,000 valuable books including collection of weekly journals edited by Gandhiji for more than two decades, the audio-visual Section has 154 films and Gandhiji's speeches in CDs in english & hindi (There are free film shows on saturdays and sundays, on special occasions and on demand) and the Photo Gallery has a collection of nearly 6000 negatives and supplies prints on order in India and abroad.At Gandhi Memorial Museum, life and philosophy of Sarvodaya Movement is projected in a film between 9:30 am till 5:30 pm except on Thursday and on Sunday it is featured in Hindi at 4 pm and at 5 pm in English.
