National Rail Museum is the focus of India - a source of fascination and interest in railways for all. Monorail : Ride and have fun on the Mono Rail of erstwhile Maharaja of Patiala state. Built in 1907 by Orenstein and Koppel, Berlin, Germany; is the only working steam monorail in the world (run only on Sunday or prior booking).

Amazing experience, but needs improvement.
I visited National Rail Museum with my kids ( 5yrs and 8yrs) and wife. I will suggest this is the place to go for every kid. Kids might have seen trains and engines from far away or only while we travel but this place gives them to experience Big Train Engines. They can climb, touch feel Big Engines...More
