The curriculum is structured for children aged 1 to 1.5 years, as they would spend maximum time at the Day Care. The older children would follow an age appropriate timetable, depending on their stay time in the Day Care.
The Day Care's curriculum is designed around Activity Based Learning. The following would be the broad learning tracks. This is indicative and not exhaustive.
Gross motor play: Children learning to or standing and taking their first steps. E.g Rocking, riding toys, climbing structures, balancing
Fine motor play: Learning to hold, pick up, assemble toys, puzzles, stacking, quiet or imaginative play: Free play, doll house, blocks
Language/Communication development: Flash cards, small words, circle time, response to simple sentences, using hand gestures; building listening skills throughstory time, use of simple sentences
Music and movements: Developing a sense of rhythm and tune, stimulating creativity through art, exploring the environment through sand, water and paints play
Social and emotional development: Overcoming stranger anxiety, moving out of home and comfort zone, repeating favourite sounds and actions, peekaboo games
Developing cognitive abilities: Learning, thinking, solving, association, following instructions
