Rozelle teaches Piano, Cello and Keyboards with a huge emphasis on experiencing and playing different genres of music like Western Classical, Indian, Jazz and Pop. She also trains students for the Trinity Guildhall and ABRSM music examinations.
Born into a family of musicians Rozelle commenced her musical studies in piano at the age of 8 and then later studied the cello. She has performed for the Bombay Chamber Orchestra as well as the India National Youth Orchestra and was invited to play with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada in 2013.
Rozelle has completed her grades in Piano and Cello from the Trinity College London and the Associate Board of the Royal schools of music.Besides classical, she has played pop, jazz and fusion with musicians like Amit Trivedi,Salim Suleiman and KK . Having performed all over the country and for the Shangri-Lagroup of hotels, she has also appeared in a number of adventisements, films and television shows like Coke Studio and MTV unplugged. Rozelle continues to freelance and perform with different artistes and bands.
As a musician and teacher for the last 10 years, Rozelle continually strives to seek constant professional development in all areas of Music, with an emphasis on a well-rounded Musicianship. Her teaching philosophy is based on holistic learning with a strong emphasis on a well rounded music education both practically and theoretically. All teaching modules are specifically designed with each student in mind, focusing on their strengths and abilities. She creatively uses very contemporary techniques to make lessons a very fun and relevant experience.
She strongly believes that teaching is a mutual process where both the teacher and student work together in learning and evolving their craft through a process of self-discovery.
