Prabhaav means “impact”, and as the famous Jackie Robinson said “A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives.” Bearing in mind the thoughtful words of Bapu, “be the change” , Prabhaav is all about “bringing about that change” by providing a platform for Women Empowerment, Child Welfare and Education and Reliving our rich Cultural Heritage. The youth are the future, and will, one day, control this nation. Education is generally seen as the foundation of society which brings economic wealth, social prosperity and political stability and is seen as a major aspect of development of any modern society . If there is a deficit of educated people then the society’s progress and the nations development as a whole is hampered. As Malcolm X said “Education is our passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to the people who prepare for it today.”Prabhaav Foundation is focused on initiatives that that target the health, well being and education of children.A woman, it is said, is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform. With this base established well, women are able t go out into the world, prepared to handle any challenge with skill, confidence and grace. Once fully equipped, these women come to the forefront, becoming agents of peace and positive social change for themselves, their families, the society and the nation at large. It is about time we stood up and did something. We, at Prabhaav, Nurture the destitute women and empower them with skill sets to be on their own.Conservation of the world is an important issue today; however, globally it is failing. The long term effects of most conservation strategies adopted cannot be successfully achieved unless all our efforts are directed to this end. At Prabhaav, we like to think of ourselves not as environmentalists but as Earth Warriors. Environmental Protection is influenced by three interwoven factors: legislation, ethics and education. Our mission is to educate and sensitize the women and children, thereby ensuring a cleaner and greener tomorrow. India, today, is at the cusp of a paradigm change in its growth and position in the world. We must act decisively to capture this opportunity. We need to think big and scale up in each and every area, be it education, infrastructure, empowerment of women or gender equality.
