Social is set up as a space that blends the best of office and the café to combine work and play. It’s an urban hangout where you can be offline but still connected. The Khar Social has an added attraction for those who love wheels on their feet. They have Mumbai’s first skate ramp created by Nick Smith, Red Bull and Social. Skaters in and around the city come here to improve their skills and spread awareness about the skate culture in the country. Children may not always be permitted into the ramp zone especially if there are professional skaters already using the space. When we visited for breakfast with an 8 and 9 year old, the ramp was empty. As our kids had their safety gear, and we said we would take responsibility for watching over them, the kids were allowed onto the ramp and had a blast trying it out. For those who are good at skate boarding this is a fantastic option to visit. It also helps that the F&B is really unique and scrumptious.
