In the compound of Purna building a small library funded by Jawaharlal Darda is Reading Tree, childrens book library. For a meager 1600 Rs a year members can come read to their children, borrow books, do puzzles, look at the wide collection of huge charts covering various topics is this little library. Mothers can come in anytime between 11.00 a.m. – 7.00 p.m. and read and play with their little ones.
The collection for preschoolers between 2.5 – 5 years is especially commendable. They also have a lot of interactive peg puzzles, 8 – 10 pcs jigsaw puzzles, Franks & Creatives puzzles on concepts for preschoolers. Girls can enjoy playing with the Doll house while the boys can indulge in a lot of machines & automobiles.
The library also hosts craft workshops every Thurs & Saturday between 4 – 6 p.m. The workshops are free for members and guests have to pay a nominal entry charge of Rs 50.
