Hey mum, So, it's mother's day again and to celebrate the success of the Internet trendiest new blogger I thought it would be best to give her an ode à la her style. With time we tend to forget love, sacrifices and teachings, but this is to let you know that there are some things that I've inherited from you ( apart from your Satya Pauls!)that will stay with me forever. So, it's been a little over 5 years since you took your biggest decision and this is our way of life now. I want to let you know that no matter how healthy I am I'll always remember your biggest sacrifice , your sleepless nights and anxious days, and that irrational hope you had in something you'd never heard of; all for my sake. You deserve every applause that this underconfident 'quiet , shy one' will ever get. So no matter how successful I become I'll never forget the times you struggled with my math as much as I did. And I'll never forget that relationships are always more important than work, as you didn't forget. There are a few more unforgettable things that we did together. Our rainy day lunches in Domino's, our chick flicks, our shopping trips and of course our Poha breakfasts. Because of all this that you've done for me you've always been the silver lining to my dark clouds. But apart from these things, this letter is also to remind you of what you taught me: you don't always get what you deserve so just be hopeful. And don't forget , no matter what, I'll always love you the most .
Hugs and kisses P.S. This is my daughter's gift to me on mother's day though what she doesn't know is that She is the biggest gift I could ever get.
