While for some kids, the school has just declared summer holidays, some of you would have returned after an outstation trip to resume school in few days. Summer may be a time to take a break from the school, but it does not have to be a break from learning. Summer camps are an excellent medium for learning during the break. If you have missed out on some summer camps, here are few exciting camps starting from June 15th. You can explore the opportunities to learn in various fields’ right from sports and science to craft and theatre.

Engineering for kids summer camp

Engineering camps offer innovation, imagination and fun learning. Your kid should not miss out on this workshop if he/she is aspiring to become an engineer tomorrow. The engineering club workshop is a non-stop fun to sharpen engineering skills where in your kid will learn to make buzzers, ice-cream factory, lunar lander and many more. The classes are from Monday to Friday and the kids will carry their finished project back home.
Roboclub Techno Camp II
Location – Robo Club, B-14, Chirag Enclave, Opp. Nehru Place

Age - 6 to 8yrs / 9 to 12 yrs / 13 to 16yrs

Looking out for a chance to be hands-on with hi-tech robotic kits, your kid should spend this summer break with RoboClub learning cool Robotics and Electronics. This techno camp has enthusiastic teachers who have guided several Roboclub teams to winning international robotics competitions. Video game designing using scratch

Embark a fun journey through an innovative summer programme conducted by Engineering for Kids team. This programme is based on video game designing. The ability to code computer programs is an important part of literacy now. Learning to code can help them learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects and communicating ideas. So, let the kids make their own game and play with it.
Young Chefs Academy -
Location - 37, Link Road, Lajpat Nagar III, New Delhi
Age – 3yrs and above
Date – Batch 1 - 15th June to 19th June / Batch 2 – 22nd June to 26th June
Time – 11 am to 1pm
Unlike the usual baking and cooking classes, this camp will make our kid chefs to learn some Mexican and Italian delicacies. Young Chefs Academy is conducting “ cool and frozen treats camp” from 15th June to 19th June and register for this camp if your kid wants to learn to make Aqua De Horchata, Avocado Humus, Mexican Tostada, Ice cream Bombe and much more.
If they want to relish their taste buds with some exciting Italian foods items like Alsatian Tart, Stuffed Mushroom, Courgettes au broccio, Finish Baguettes, Vanilla Souffle and much more, they can register for their “Travel through France camp" which will be between 22nd June and 26th June. One of the ways to regain excellent control over the hand movement and imagination is by learning the art of paper quilling. It is totally fun and improves creative and imaginative skills. Kids will learn to make a photo frame, two bookmarks and gift tags during the course.

Let the children construct something creative out of natural wood .The amazing unique carpentry workshop conducted by YUTI would include introduction to basic carpentry tools, designing & measurements and actual woodwork. Kids will take back home their finished creation.

Yet another unique and engaging workshop designed by Yellow Cat theatre group is to introduce children to the process of making and performing theater. Yellowcat is a collective of artists/educators who use the medium of performance to create playful experiences for young people. They have been creating this experience since 2005. In the workshop , in addition to theater games, children will also write stories and create their own short play scripts. A mini-workshop on photographs and stories is also part of the course. If your kid is aspiring to become an actor, this workshop is certainly an apt one to enroll.
