Where To Go For A Scaretastically  Fun Halloween?

Not all demons were destroyed on Dussera day, some are still lurking around waiting for the end of the month to surface and demand their pound of ... candy! Yes, it is Halloween time once again, time to pull out your scary decorations, costumes and go candy shopping. If you are wondering where to go once you’re all togged up in your scariest best, we have a shortlist of some of the most interesting events happening in the city on and around Halloween.


Halloween Party and ‘Trunk or Treat’ at Indoor Play Zone

The celebration at the IPZ goes on all day and you can choose your time slot - morning 10 am to 2 pm or afternoon 3 to 7 pm. The special line up includes games, costume contests, trick or treating and a Halloween movie, all of which can be enjoyed in either time slot. In addition there will be games and crafts running the entire time, such as a maze, Jack-o-lantern shoot off, bouncy houses, Bobbing for Apples, Face painting, Sketch artists, Trampoline, Three legged races, Pumpkin carving painting and so much more. There is also open play for children of ages 8 and under in the Indoor Play Zone
But the most fun part would definitely be the ‘Trunk or Treat’ which is the car-version of Trick-or-Treat. Each family decorates their car as they like and all cars are lined up in a large parking lot and kids will trick or treat to each car. The best decked out car will win a prize as well. Each participant will have to bring something to pass out which can be inexpensive candy, stickers, pencils, erasers etc.
Entrance to the trick-or-treating is free as long as you bring enough tricks or treats to hand out to at least 200 kids. Other activities are at a small additional charge per game or you can buy an All Access Pass for Rs 1000.

Halloween Costume Party at Hang Out

Locality: Select Citywalk, Saket, Pacific Mall, Subash Nagar, Mega Mall, Gurgaon

Age Group: Upto 15 years

Date: 31st October 2015

Meet and interact and get pictures with your favourite characters, Trick or Treat, try your luck at a lucky dip, watch a spooky movie on the 6D motion theatre or take a scary ride on the virtual roller coaster. Once you are done with all this, you can snack on the special Halloween Menu. The characters visiting Pacific are Tom and Jerry, Mickey, George pig, Snowhite and Batman.Select CityWalk will get Peppa pig, Donald Duck, Hello Kitty, Iron man and Barney while those visitng Gurgaon will be Woody, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, Kungfu panda and Ben 10.

Halloween Workshop By Athena

Athena promises a ‘fang-tastic’ time over an evening of some 'not-so-scary' games, collecting candies, and creating your own Jack-o-lantern.  Don’t forget the dress code - orange and black. The session will be from 4 to 5.30 pm.
