Lonely old-Its time we reflect old age with empathy and recognize the need for their time with us.

In this fast pace world there is no time for us to spend time with the aged parents,the single grandma neighbor who lives alone in the house next to us and we fail to recognize there loneliness/Unloved and They dont have a single  conversation in days simply becoz nobody has ears to listen to there same old stories.And they like anybody else feel lonely and depressed  after being so busy during there younger stages of life.

A poem reflecting the old age and the loneliness associated with it:

People are busy always busy, busy with something or other I know,

I wait for the wanted call, a call that I never get;

I lose my patience and then I call only to see that line is busy,I wait and wait for the person I love and the wait is forever you see;

I get bored and I switch on the TV and the TV is all nonsense you see,

Then I try to do something I love and I do it until that bores me again,

Am just lonely as you can see;

I can be boring; I can snore; I can complain; I can scold;

I am slow,I am old,I can be crazy, once you will be,

All I need is friend , who you can be;

And I was once you and who I really miss;

Share your love and give me sometime,

I can be the person I used to be;

I would like to laugh and smile,

I can laugh at your silly joke,

I can hear your boring story,

All i need is someone to talk and to listen ,the someone who you can be;

I just want to be like you and everybody else is ,

I just need that little attention that the world denies me,

I just need a hug and a little pat,

I just want to be in peace with me;

I don’t want you to judge me,

I never need your sympathy,

All I need is a friend who you can be.
