Towards the end of first year, your baby will begin to communicate what she wants by pointing, crawling or gesturing towards her target.

 Early in the second year, your toddler will suddenly seem to understand everything you say.

By this age most of the toddlers master at least fifty spoken words.

Girls generally develop language skills faster than boys :-)

  • Points to objects or pictures when asked for
  • Recognizes names of familiar people, objects and body parts
  • Says several single words
  • Uses simple phrases
  • Uses to two-four word sentences
  • Start following simple instructions
  • Repeats words overheard in conversation

3.Always use same words for same picture

4.Make child use his senses - touch, see, hear, taste and smell
