Rama Navami – Birth of Lord Rama
Shree Rama Rama Rameti
Rame Raame Manorame
Sahasranaama Tat Tulyam
Raama Naama Varaanane|
By meditating the Name of Rama, my Mind gets absorbed in the Divine Consciousness of Rama, which is Transcendental. The Name of Rama is as Great as the Thousand Names of God -(Vishnu Sahasranama).
Rama Mantra - Sri Rama Rama Rameti sloka (a part taken from vishnu sahasranama stotram) if recited gives the same effect as reciting the whole of Vishnu Sahasranama Stotra. By reciting the name 'Rama' one time, there is an effect of reciting the whole Vishnusahasranama stotra one time. Precisely, when we recite 'Rama' once, it is equal to reciting thousand names of the Lord.
Significance of reciting Rama Nama…
Rama Nama is the accepted globally as the only Mantra that is called 'Taraka Mantra'. The word 'taraka' signifies as the one that helps us cross. It helps us cross all the ups and downs of the cycles of birth and death.
