Over coming ..... Anger Tantrums !!

"Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which it is stored than to anything on which it is poured".
– Mark Twain (Author)

At times, you must have noticed a child in your neighbourhood picking up stones and pelting it on other children in a fit of rage or a child start abusing without them realizing what are they actually saying and where is the abuses coming from.

For many parents, this kind of a behaviour becomes a nuisance as they are unable to control it. It is OK to get angry but when the anger reaches the level where in your child starts misbehaving and throwing tantrums and starts damaging things it’s high time that parents must keep a tab on their child.

A child often gets angry on the fact that the parents have said no to the things they wished for or if they want things to go their way.

Children start throwing tantrums only when something they thing is wrong within themselves and they do not understand how to portray it in words and expressions, this is the time where the parents need to check on their kids as to what is the reason behind a behaviour that is not acceptable in house or outside being unethical.

Such kind of children bring home a lot of negativity and complaints from school or social gatherings, and once the parents start becoming aware of the things that are taking place, it is wise to make your child understand where they are going wrong rather than doing the same violence in which they learn even more of it and make the situation worse for both the child and the parent.

This will make things much more easier if you as a parent to understand the depth of the circumstances of your child and what is making they behave in an unethical way, the problem solving should have a very calm technique and in depth understanding of the root of the problem that your child is facing.

Therefore, as the house is considered to be the first place of learning, parents should reinforce good behaviour in their children by spending quality time with them, talking to them about things that bother them and making them understand as to what kind of behaviour is acceptable in the society and at home.

With changing times, there are lots of workshop companies that have established themselves to understand why the children feel angry and have evolved new ways of controlling anger through pictorial and drawing workshops along with counselling sessions available to help your child deal with anger management issues.

"Anger is a fuel. You need fuel to launch a rocket. But if all you have is fuel without any complex internal mechanism directing it, you don’t have a rocket. You have a bomb".
– Gil Schwartz (Novelist)
