I was out from my office from 2 Pm to 3:15 Pm. one hour and 15 minutes are good enough time to be caught. Normally, I don’t take such long break so when I got back and settled myself again with the system. Few of my colleague rather friends started to ask, where was I?
Well, I was out for tea, I replied calmly.
Don’t lie, you were out for more than 1 hour and you are saying you were out for tea only, we don’t believe you, my team alleged me.
It won’t take that much of time for tea, you were engaged with something else, why don’t you tell us, another one commented with a sly (everyone was guessing some interview).
Really, I was out for tea. And it took that long because I went Noida sec 62 for that tea. So why I traveled 15KM, just to have a cup of tea?
I was in the office, working on my Azure project. A notification flashed, new mail. Within no time I was reading the mail. It was my wife.
“God bless you .. kitna achcha mausam hai aur hum log office me hai apne apne.. too bad.. saath me hona chahiye tha aur achchi wali chai..”
I ignored the god bless you, but the rest of the lines were saying something. A wish, even though, she knows that I am busy. With a cold heart, I replied “it’s office time and I am busy. Will have our tea in evening at home.” Adding a smiley at the end.
Within seconds, I got another mail. A reply to my mail.
“Usme naya kya hai.. roj to yahi hota hai.. mausam ka maza to tab hai jab ye din me ho sham ko nhi..”
That’s it, it’s her wish. She knows I am busy still she is wishing a cup of tea with me. I loved the way she behaved. Sometimes, you need a little push and the second mail was that push. You have to ask multiple time if you really want it. It shows the passion. And when you know this is what your partner really want. You don’t care about the logic and calculation. It took me 30 minutes to reach there. We had our tea at “Tappri”. while having tea with her one long forgotten song strike me.
“तेरे संग एक simple सी coffee भी kick देती है, तेरे संग, ये दुनिया अलग ही नज़र आती है, तेरे संग.......”
