An Open Letter to the first man who loved me : My Dad!!!

Nanna (Dad)!!!
I know this is very old style of expressing my feelings towards you (as the latest generation is with watsup,FB,Twitter etc..), but I felt my emotions to be penned down! What should I say, Where should I start,How would be my life without your support and encouragement!!! Let me go back to my memory lane, I would be loving it to be once again your little girl !!!! Being a father is no easy task. A father makes a huge impact on his daughter's life.To be honest, I can't remember a time when you weren't there for me — not only as a father, but as a best friend. Even though we don't always understand each other, you’re one of the biggest influences in my life. A father is the one who guides his daughter through life.Whether it was a school play, sporting event, graduation or any defining moment in my life, you've always been one of my biggest fans. Wherever I end up, I hope I make you proud.Every little girl grows up looking up to her dad, but I've never stopped.I hope one day I can show you how important you are to me.
I still remember Amma (Mom) telling me how fondly you selected my pet name (Munny) first and then choose my actual name.....! I still remember the song you used to sing for me when I was a little goes like this "Rani Maharani...maa Munny Maharani"!!!
I still remember how you stood behind me, while I struggled to gain my balance while learning how to ride the bicycle. And how, when I rode perfectly without falling, you jumped up in glee and shouted "Wow!"! Thank you Dad, for giving me wings to fly.
I still remember the days when you used to come after midnight every night but still wake up early in the morning just to drop us(Me and younger sis) at our bus drop point. I still remember every day how you used to feed us (me and my younger sis). Thank you Dad, for being with me on anytime!
When I was on the verge of choosing a career, you held my hand and told me to do what I wanted to.The day I got my first job, I still remember you proudly telling everyone about it.And years later, when I finally got my breakthrough, you were the proudest.Thank you Dad, for trusting me and my choices.
When I was ready to fly to my nest, leaving off you and amma ...your concern was,"If any situation I felt left or ignore don't take it up to heart, Just tell boldly and firmly that You need love above all to your partner" Thank you Dad, for making me bold and clear in my thoughts!
Come what may, you were always there to listen to me patiently and kindheartedly, give advises and tell upfront whenever I did a mistake as a mentor.Thank you Dad, for always being as a strong pillar and being as a mentor!
When I had decided to quit my job and I was at my lowest, you offered me such sound advice. As I sat at home without a job, you comforted me and said, "Pick yourself up, you are better than this. This is just a phase and it too, shall pass." You made me feel better and said the words I needed to hear. You ignited that fire and made me jump back on the horse.Thank you Dad, for showing me the way.
Whatever situation/ wherever I needed you, you were always there very much next to me! Thank You Dad, for the unending helping hand!               You did those things solely because you loved me; showing me that when you love someone, you do what you can to make them happy. Thanks for everything Nanna!
It's because of you that I can call myself a strong and independent woman, you have always kept my happiness and independence before anything and everything else for that matter.
People feel that you are hard, strict exterior, but as your little girl I tell now to everyone that there's a lovable man who would do anything to see his little girl's smile on her face. Thank you Dad, for everything.
Always remember, no matter where I am or how old I get, I will always love you and so grateful to God for giving me a chance to call you as "Dad"
I admire everything you do.  By far you are the most influential person in my life.  You set your goals high and you accomplish them no matter how hard or impossible they  seem.Your determination is commendable.I've always looked up to you, tried to be like you, and be my own person the way you are.You never follow the crowd and you do what you believe is right.Especially with our faith, I've taken that trait from you.We both know how hard it is to stick with it, but we know it's worth it and if no one else is by our side we still try our best to be faithful to God.I learned that from you. That's probably the most valuable thing I've learned.
You are so amazing Dad!  I know you're always so humble, hardworking, committed and sincere and you really deserve an award.
As days pass by and we grow older, I know deep down inside that no matter how old I get, I will always be your little princess forever.

Should I need to say "Happy Father's Day" to you... Then I should say it on every day , as it is father's day to me here is today's wish

"HAPPY FATHER'S DAY" & "Love You Nanna"

Dad's Little Princess
Munny (This is how my dad fondly calls me)
