One Last Time!!

Endless tantrums.

Messy house.

Lots of hugs and kisses.

Giving them Bath

Making her doll house.

Playing hide and seek with them.

Running after them, for that one bite of food.

Telling them bed time stories.

Those laughs, when one of them farts!!

Enjoy it! Enjoy it to the fullest!

Because soon it will come to an end.

There will be LAST TIME for everything.

One fine day, when you kiss them, they will say, “Mumma now I am a grown up boy, please don’t kiss me.”

Enjoy the messy house and those scattered toys, because soon the house will be clean and toys will be replaced with expensive gadgets.

Don’t feel disheartened that you are not able to spend time with your husband. The once romantic nights have been taken over by two corners of bed and kids in between. Things will not be the same forever. Soon the kids will have different bedroom.

Hear to their endless talks, their school stories, about their friends. Hear and laugh with them. After few years, they will have their own bunch of friends, those crushes, secrets and gigglings. And if you ask them, “What’s going on?” Prompt reply would be, “Leave it mom, you won’t understand.”

Those innocent faces, that carefree mind. Seek relief in those tension free faces. Soon they will have lots of homework, school projects, dance classes, swimming classes, career orientation, and hectic schedules. Once grown up, they will have their own insecurities, tensions and worries.

Enjoy their world of cartoon, the undefeatable chhota bheem, the gadget freak doremon, the beautiful cindrella, the mind bogling motu patlu. Soon they will be replaced by hip hop music, channel V and MTV.

Don’t get upset, when they are throwing tantrums. Enjoy every single minute! Even the hard times! They will grow up fast.

You would not even know when that last time would be. Those hugs, those kisses, that babbling would not be there forever. There would be last time. One last time.

Time flies and in a blink of an eye, they would be grown up, ready to face the world out there.

And then you will have memories, just memories and lots of memories.
