Moong dal pakoda (Mangodi) by Sia Tilwani

Here's my next recipe is green moong dal pakoda (Mangodi).

It's a very popular snack in India.It is made in every indian family.

Mangodi is an amazing combination with tea in rainy season 🌧🌧

I love to eat with mint chutney πŸ˜‹πŸ˜‹.cant wait to share my recipe with you 😍😍.



  • Green moong dal - 2 cups
  • Onion finely chopped - 2
  • Ginger - roughly chooped 1 tbsp
  • Garlic - 15- 16
  • Green chilli - 10-12
  • Coriander- as your taste
  • Salt as per required
  • Oil to fry


  1. Wash and soak dal for overnight or 4-5 hours before you make
  2. Drain the water completely
  3. In jar add dal,green chilli,garlic,ginger and coriander
  4. Grind nicely
  5. Make smooth paste
  6. Keep in the fridge for half hour
  7. When you make than you add finely chopped onion and salt.
  8. Now deep fry.

    Now Mangodi is ready to eat ☺️

      Serve with mint chutney,imli chutney or tomato sauce 😍😍
